XDeltaTool ("the app", "we", "our", or "us") is a utility application designed to apply .xdelta patches to binary files using the Android device's file system. XDeltaTool does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All file operations are handled locally on your device.

The app requires the following permissions to function correctly:

• Storage Access Framework (SAF):
  Required to allow the user to select .xdelta patch files, original files, and to save patched files via Android's secure file picker.

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for Android versions below 10):
  Allows access to the user's files for patching purposes. No files are accessed without the user's direct interaction.

• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (Android 13+):
  Required only if the user manually selects audio files to patch (e.g., .ogg, .wav, .mp3). This permission is only used during patching and not for any analysis or collection of audio data.

4. Use of Files
All operations involving file reading and writing occur locally on your device and are initiated explicitly by the user. The app never accesses, uploads, or shares your files in the background.
5. Integration with Quicktale
If the user chooses, XDeltaTool can pass the patched file directly to Quicktale, another app installed on your device. This is done locally through the Android OS without transmitting any data externally. No data is sent to any server or third party.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. All file access is user-controlled, and no files or personal information leave your device.
7. Children's Privacy
XDeltaTool is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted within the app or on the Google Play listing.
